The inaugural Cork Tag Festival lit up Páirc Uí Chaoimh as Tag Republic brought together teams from across the city for a day of fast-paced tag rugby, sunshine, and serious craic. Inflatable goalposts framed the pitches, the tunes were pumping, and the pints were flowing as teams battled it out in style.
After the group stages wrapped, the atmosphere ramped up with the final showdown between Taggart and the Finnvitationals — a thrilling clash that had the crowd roaring from start to finish. In the end, it was Finnvitationals who took home the title, sealing their win with flair and teamwork.
The standout moment came from Siobhán Crowley, whose sensational intercept try earned her the MVP award and a well-deserved prize, thanks to our friends at Hungry Hippo.
The celebrations continued with an after-party in the Venue Bar, before the festival crew hit Voodoo in full tag gear — dancing the night away! Looking forward to next years Cork Tag Fest!!
